Skane,
The show is aired on 07.40am Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Florida.
Airs between 11am-12pm opposing view 12pm-1.00pm.
I believe message boards on AOL carried similar information, the show host Gregory Kostas....seems rational in his approach and does not hype the stock, is well followed and had a good track record as a stock picker. If I can help further ....Harry

Skane,
This might not be the case in the radio station, but it is an example of how not to be wrong.
Biggs and Brian Wein of a famous Wall St. firm have often been on opposite sides, one a Bull...the other a Bear.
While both examples cited are innocent, I will cite an example of a ingenious, but larcenous (sp) one. A young, hot shot broker fresh from business school wanted to get rich quick. He went through his firms client list, selected 100 of the wealthiest clients. He then sent out 50 strong buy reccomendations on the most volatile stock he could find ( say the Amazon.com of its day )...then he sent out strong short recomendations to the other fifty, The stock went up fifteen points in a week ( a big move in times gone by) He now had a list of fifty happy clients, especially those who actually bought. He now had a list of fifty to work on. He did the same thing, this time with 25 buys and 25 strong shorts....Like magic, the new stock selected had a large move and he ended up with 10 clients who made a quick killing ( two did not respond. He then repeated his formula, 5 buys and 5 shorts. Serendipity sometimes steps in to protect the fleeced.
Two gentlemen were playing golf on Saturday, casual friends, and as they got to the third hole the conversation turned to the stock market. Each commented on the phenominal luck they had been having in the market and the hot shot broker they had. Customer A told his friend that his broker had given him a strong buy on Porcupine Mines.
That's funny said Customer B, my broker gave me a strong short on that stock. Who is your broker?...My broker is Charlie Gonnif with Blue Sky Securities....that's really wierd..he is my broker too!!!
In a short time after this incident was revealed to Blue Sky and Charlie Gonnif was no longer on the "street"
But those were the bad old days and the investors of today no longer have to worry about such goings on.
The above is a true story...only the names were changed to protect my asterisk...this taken from a series of stories of my recollections of Wall Street ( as yet unpublished ) and printed here for educational purposes only......the delete button is your protection from further ramblings......nysebob2
