Dear estrarus, In 1993-1994 the US Army requested from all companies that were involved in Intraosseous Infusion, including Cook (SurFast) and Jamshidi to present, in an International competition, their concept on a system that could meet the criteria of the US Army.This was defined by Col. Mosebar, renowned for his battlefield expertise in casualty care, and which such recommendations included, Sternal access as a selected and preferred site, 2 minute turn around, easy access. The winner of that competition was PYNG MEDICAL CORP. also Pyng Medical Corp. was recorded as the Contractor of Record in a Report to Congress in that year and we reported it as a news release. This is one for the cyberspace individuals to look up.We have never compared our selves to products that started out as a conversion of a bone marrow aspiration needle which was invented over thirty years ago. We have consistently reported on our developments and have made constant steps towards our goals.
