Part of this depends on how risky you want to be.

On a 1-10 scale with 10 being the riskiest, I consider myself an 8. I have predominantly tech stocks (you can see my holdings in my profile), but I have not binged too much into the NET stocks as of yet. AOL, in my opinion, is the best risk-reward investment of all the NET stocks. It is just over 15% of my portfolio and one cannot argue with its growth and future outlook. ATHM has great potential with its technology and could outperform AOL, but it has a much greater risk. I will be buying some ATHM shares and I think it will perform fine, but only a very small portion. ATHM is rapidly growing, but as I have argued before, AOL is undoubtedly trying to come up with the same technology ATHM currently uses.

Just my view; I prefer AOL because I tend to invest a lot of money that I really cannot afford to lose.
