Mr. Gintel,

Just my 2 cents worth,

"One of the great strengths of this thread has been the absence
of hype, and in it's place... perceptive thinking, knowledge, information, honesty, and loyalty. The fill in banter and humor is great too."

I could not have said it better myself...

"I was just sending out a message saying....
let's tone it down a little here and keep it as
professional as possible."

After watching the pain that permeated this thread in August,
I believe that everyone is entitled to be a little unprofessional
at times, in public or in private. Especially on days such as today...

Just my opinion...

As soon as I revel in a stock's action, (1) my subconscious tells me it's because I'm smart, (2) I do something like add to my position, (3) I pay no further attention to the market and what it is telling me, (4) the market humbles me by taking away some, most, or all of my profits.
Don't confuse brains with a bull market, I must keep telling myself. If ever there was a stock which can take away as fast as it gives, Checkfree is her name.

Mr. Gintel, I (and I believe I speak for many) appreciate your professionalism. I have read your profile and hope to hear more from you in the future. We can all benefit from your contributions.

Firstly, to step up the way you did the other day, and then due to your experience and descipline trade that position, says a lot about your temperament.

In my short 7 year history of serious investing, I have only learned within the last year or so not to "fall in love with a stock". I have been burnt too many times thinking that the management of a company can maximize the market potential of its products and services.

Admittedly, I like everything I see in CKFR. However, it must execute and grow its offering as the market evolves. Cisco systems market was the router in 1990. Today, it IS the network. Tomorrow data, voice, video and ???

Time will tell......I will hold for three years. Hedging and adding from time-to-time.
