Just to set the record straight.

Michael Dorf left Complastik to pursue his own interests in June 1998.
I have continued the company with new partners. To answer your other question - we are still considering a small corporation offering under one of the special SEC rules and you will be on our mailing list, if we do.

Quadrax is no longer a materials company. The reorganization will put Victor as the front company and lose any remaining vestiges of the composites operations. The equipment was auctioned back in December. The company name will change on reorganization to reflect that it is a cord-making company, I am sure.

Since Douglas 'Buck' Meyers has said bye bye, maybe I can answer for Phoenixx. As I understand it, Phoenixx purchased tape-making and shaft-rolling equipment from Quadrax when Q put everything up for auction - perfectly legit. They moved the graphite tape line to a new site in Massachusetts and the shaft-making equipment is in So. Cal. They are making the same shafts that Q made and sold under their own name. You can read more about them at
clubmaker-online.com
and in a long Q&A session on thermoplastic shafts at cbs.sportsline.com

I know the Phoenixx guys were not given any special treatment because of their previous positions and they were probably the only people to make a bid on that equipment. What they paid for the equipment goes into the coffers to pay for the reorganization.

Complastik is completely new technology and a completely new market. Thermoplastic composites is about the only characteristic shared with Phoenixx. I don't think we mention golf shafts anywhere on our web site - complastik.com
