I've said it before. Don't look for any released shipments until 4/1. The company has zero incentive to release the Voodoo3 right now. The company is better served to swallow the huge losses that 1Q99 is going to have due to revenue shortfalls and save them for 2Q99. The Street isn't going to punish or aid the company based on 1Q99 earnings as the business model is fundamentally changing and many past metrics of company performance are no longer applicable. Competitors will not be able to release their equivalent products until late April/early May at the earliest by which time Voodoo3 will have absorbed alot of the pent up demand. On top of this it allows more time for TDFX to tweak its drivers, produce more chips and boards, and concentrate on its upcoming Comdex/marketing kickoff.

Just put aside your shares until mid-April.

Gaming bundles are a lousy deal.

They're usually just demos you could download anyway. If they're the retail version, there are good odds you already own it or don't want it. Either way, you're paying for it. I'd rather buy the card for less money and choose my own games.
