Mike, For 1999 cost of goods dropped to 74.6 from 75.8 in 1998, however Selling, general and adm increased from 21.5 in 98 to 23.6 in 99. Comparable sales (excluding mens div) for same stores increased 4% in Dec, 3% in Jan and 11% in Feb. For this three month comparable sales increased 5.7%, roughly 1/2 the industry average. I don't like the direction of their S,G & A. IMO a retailer like CHRS needs to focus on cutting s,g & a, driving profit and positioning themselves as a profitable retailer and I don't see it. Marijories sale of her stock convinced me to move on before I end up underwater. I don't put much value on the book value of a retailer (stores, lease hold improvements and inventory seldom are valuable unless the retailer demonstrates an ability to profit and grow). Good luck
