CNBC had a technical analyst discuss MSFT after the market-TKO segment--at around 5:30 PM.
He was positive about the stock's technicals; liked the breakout over 160; next move is to 166 according to him.
Maybe we will see it tomorrow.

I think the move in MSFT was overdue anyways, settlement or not.
It is one of the few companies in the markets that you can predict will meet or exceed earnings estimates. There are fears over INTEL's sales but no one has even suggested a profit warning from MSFT. They know better. I think a lot of people are falling for those INTEL rumors (which I believe will turn out to be nonsense) but if a rumor circulated about MSFT, all you would get is laughter. IMO.

- there's a difference between holding hearings & sicking a multi-million $$ Justice Dept on MSFT

- When Repubs. were in charge of Justice, there wasn't 1 case of Gov't going after business.

- Now, it's an everyday occurrence.

- Trust me Lan. I don't know everything. But Democrats despise private industry. Especially successful companies.

- I've written to my Congressman; and I suggest you do likewise. Telling him that I want Justice Dept to pursue real crimes; like Chinese money influencing American elections.
