Glad it gave you a chuckle, Blue, Nanhu-Nanhu. Here's something else about The Greatness of Go2net...which grows and changes almost daily lately. "EVERYBODY UP FOR VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE" There's a certain major quality from the git-go about Go2net that makes it different from (especially) AOL & GO, also from YHOO, AMZN, XCIT, LCOS, & most other Big Portals/Search Engines.... but this basic difference gives Go2net a similar focus as MSN. IMHO it's a good choice that hopefully will continue. (It's just one good quality. Anyone got any more GNET points? A favorite stock strategy of mine is to circle the wagons) Answer: Go2net.com is a website for adults. Not much of interest here for children or teens, including the plainer site design. (not that I don't love the kids, I sure do... but just looking at SI; doubt if kids use SI to do research for economics and business classes. Just one reason SI is great is because when kids are around, the conversation of adults necessarily changes. It's not any sex talk that I'm speaking of, really...it's the true adult non-PC rip-away-the-veil cynical stuff like talk of how to do online investigational research, unmasking bigwigs and politicians, how financial pirates operate, etc. etc. - which is really not for their need-to-know level yet. Such talk could inspire wrong ideas about business and/or mischievious knowledge in the mindss of kids, as well. It's stuff ADULTS need to know and talk about and can only do so without inhibition. The young ones got much more to learn before they get the right perspective for the 360 angle of Level 1 Streetsmarts. Kids don't belong in the stock market, beyond learning the basics of it in a class. Teenagers should be learning about life and having fun with other young ones, working some job that's suitable for them; not examining company histories and stats to pile up money in the stock market. It's that Uninhibited Unsquelched RealSpeak that's so Doubleplusgood on SI. And the other go2net features are not really interesting for kids, either. Just one quality that makes GNET great!). Great Day To All, Joanie
