Hi Thomas. Thanks for posting tomorrow's conf. schedule.

Good luck with your longs as well.

As far as MAST, all IT outsourcing/intergrator stocks have been weak recently
(catp+cpwr+whit+cbr+pms+mast). However, MAST's drop today
could have been due to the news listed below. The concern could be
two-fold:
1. WHIT is penetrating into the same new markets that MAST
has been going after.
2. Boston is MAST's territory and WHIT is moving in MAST's turf
thru this acquisition.

Clint

Whittman-Hart Acquires Waterfield Technology Group

Accelerates Growth in Boston and New Jersey Branches Through Addition of
Client/Server, n-Tier and Web-Enabled Development Services

CHICAGO, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Whittman-Hart, Inc. (Nasdaq: WHIT - news), one of the nation's leading providers of
information technology (IT) consulting and systems-integration services for middle-market and growing companies, today
announced the acquisition of Waterfield Technology Group, a Boston-based IT services firm and strategic business partner of
Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), a global management consulting firm. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Lexington, Mass., with a branch office in Parsippany, N.J., Waterfield's approximately 100 employees
specialize in client/server and Internet-enabled application development. They have extensive experience with Java(TM) and
Java-based tools, PowerBuilder and the Microsoft suite of products.

In 1997, Waterfield entered into a strategic partnership with KSA to provide IT design and development services to KSA clients in
the retailing, consumer products and health care industries. Today's acquisition strengthens this partnership and extends its
reach to branches throughout Whittman-Hart's network.

''We have gained a regionally respected team with capabilities and experience in the industry segments we serve,'' said Robert
Bernard, Whittman- Hart CEO and Chairman. ''Waterfield Technology Group has an established reputation as a high-quality IT
services provider in Boston and Northern New Jersey, and the partnership with KSA extends its solution delivery worldwide. The
experience and vision of Waterfield's executives and the technical skills of its consultants fit well with Whittman-Hart and allow
us to expand our capabilities in these markets. Clients now have greater access to a broader range of IT services and a larger
pool of highly skilled IT professionals.''

Al Lucchese, Jr., Vice President of Whittman-Hart's Northeast Region and Boston Branch Manager, and Mike Hanson, New
Jersey Branch Manager, will continue to lead their respective branches. Waterfield founder and CEO John Dacey will be a
Solutions Director in the Boston branch while the manager of Waterfield's Parsippany office, Keith Meyer, will be a Solutions
Director in the New Jersey branch.
