Bruce , Here's a discussion of HNV (and some other stuff): Milesof: japan blowout Milesof: hk too Tiric: Not too shabby. Their fiscal year ends at the end of March. Tiric: A lot of "stuff" goes on due to that Milesof: new uptrend in place apparently Tiric: Up 25% from the low about 6 months ago. Tiric: The focus shifted off Asia with the rise in interest rates here. I wonder if that move will be enough to shift some back. Tiric: Sony announced a 25% layoff and 15 facility closings. Tiric: It was seen as a positive step Milesof: usually is... Tiric: If others follow suit, it could really get things going Milesof: geez, there are so many stocks bo'd right now it ain't even funny Tiric: yeah, I feel pretty good about the one I chose to pile into. Milesof: yep, xxxx and xxxx both need some volume though Tiric: It's positive that they didn't just pull right back right away. Milesof: hnv looks broken Tiric: That gap down was not good Milesof: yeah, think dj mentioned a mag at .62, but i would have to check with him...looks like it is out there without a net... Tiric: Tere's 2 nets left actually Tiric: The bottom one is from the low in 10/98 Tiric: The next one is across the 2 lows in Jan and Feb Tiric: The Feb low was higher than the Jan low so yesterday's low needs to hold Tiric: It's just higher than the Feb low Milesof: not sure i can hold out til oct line, i saw that one... Tiric: That one is a bit drastic. It's hard to say here if it's a bail or avg. down situation. If yesterday's low holds, it's very likely an avg. down sit. Milesof: today's low will be my exit, may be an h and s set up there too Milesof: not so clear on the weeklies though
