Aaron, not that it has anything to do with the validity of the rumor, but the note you read in the 10K pertains to our shipments to distributors, not OEMs.

We recognize OEM sales when we ship them to the OEM (i.e., Compaq)
We recognize disti sales when the disti sells them thru to end customers. In the meantime, the unsold shipments to disti inventory are reserved against revenue.

Now, with that said, rumors are worth what you pay for them. And at Intel, we try to NEVER recognize the rumors.
