Well, let me give you some of the atmosphere of my high school days. Kids and their older brothers were smuggling bricks of pot up from Mexico. One of my classmates was living with the Manson Family. Timothy Leary was living out here and handing out acid. Three of my classmates got stoned on reds and burned themselves up in a cabin fire. A friend of mine overdosed and died from some drug, a month or so after I heard him and a couple of other classmates plotting to kill a 'narc' who was working for the police. Pot, hashish, cocaine, acid and pills of all sorts were everywhere. So it was your average American high school, except that we weren't shooting or otherwise assaulting each other.
