We fired him because he had misused security," said Richardson.

Does anyone really believe that? I don't, not at all. I don't know how this issue of the Chinese getting nuclear bomb miniaturization technology first reached "story" status, but that was the first story. Included in the story was reference to a "prime suspect" who the FBI/CIA/NSA had been "investigating" for 3-odd years. And the guy was still working to this day, said the news story(s).

Next thing we know, it's two days later, and the guy is fired. Here is what really happened. I questioned my super-secret source (we'll call him Deepthroat II), and here is what he said: "Well yeah you know, like, our 3 year investigation had finally concluded that like, you know, maybe he's not going to cooperate with us, and maybe we should stop him from transferring all this top-secret nuclear stuff. Then we thought, oops, I guess he's transferred it all already. Then after that dam story broke we thought we better fire him quick, so we won't look like such traitorous fools."

Now you know "The Rest of the Story".
