What other points? I didn't see any that pertained to the issue, but if there were, I'll address them, too.

My problem with your view is that you seem to think Monica's problems stem solely from the fact that she is wealthy and from a wealthy area. That, of course, is absurd. If you visit a poor neighborhood, you'll see an equivalent number of children who are entranced by power (that's why they join the drug trade - it is the "power" that they recognize), who are concerned about their weight, their looks (if anything, poor kids are more concerned about looks and style because it helps them overcome the deficiency of being poor).
I don't see wealth as a factor. It is there, and she came from it, but I think Monica is Monica if she comes from a middle-class family. What you haven't addressed is the other interns he's likely to have done the same thing with who DIDN'T have Monica's pedigree.
