Shorting VLNC today - a Bill Wexler bow-wow special. They don't get much worse for this. VLNC has blown more than $140 million and can't create a battery that sells. They now specialize in "revolutionary" convertible preferred deals to keep the company afloat.

Lookig at VRIO April 45 calls at 1 1/8. Risky but interesting.

Nice call on VRIO. No dramatic surges yet, but a steady tick upward. I chose the April 45 calls and had to chase them a little bit. If the trend continues, they should flip for a double or triple in the near future.

Also bought CMGI March 150 puts to hedge the few long shares I have left. No idea what will happen there after earnings so I am hedged both ways.

Between the common and the calls, I have taken profits in CMGI six times this year, and the last batch of common will be a nice profit too. The only downside I can see is that it distracted me from following CNET and NSOL.

You called it, my friend. Wow! VRIO kicks butt and takes names...RNWK hits 100.....EPAY close to 30 and FNDTF back on the fast track...BRKB and JOF with solid gains...MFNX too...NRAG up for now but it never holds a close on the Ask.

All in all, a sterling day.
