Many of those McDonald's All-Americans are high school stars who aren't athletic enough to be great college players. I wouldn't get too excited about Chris Collins, for example. Still, I agree that Coach K has more talent than people say. The 1991 team that was such a huge underdog to UNLV actually had more college and NBA talent than UNLV.

Tony Larussa is a great manager, not for the results he got at Oakland but for how he manages. A better example of what you are trying to say is Bobby Cox, who couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag (whatever that means <g>).

Yes, we totally agree. Duke is loaded and they are BIG, mature looking players. I could coach them to a championship. I'd love to see them get knocked off though.
UConn could get to the final four but only because of the luck of the draw. They are't that good, IMHO. Sorry.
