So if you accumulated a position in a stock for a long period of time. Then one day sign up on SI and post that IYO AMZN is a 'buy', it would be illegal? It may be a legal issue, but if you don't know the answers, you shouldn't have advised in the first place except to say it was In Your Opinion. JMO I'm sure you were just trying to help.
