Agreed Frank - In the grand tradition of "samyama" giving full exploration to a topic without limits by serious people for the purpose of finding the truth, assuming free exploration will allow it to be revealed. Excellent. I am not sure that the Lucent offering has any real relevance vis a vis Silkroad. The bottom line seems to me to be that somebody with real qualifications would need to see this equipment and/or talk to Silkroad's engineer(s). Maybe it might be possible to corral Palmer? Pretty clearly, we are not getting very far. That is hardly suprising if what they have is really cutting edge. I imagine that most of this is hidden in his publications if one had the time to wade through them all. I certainly do not. (sigh) Those kinds of research projects can be quite fascinating. well - is there (are there) some bright folks in the area of San Diego who might be able to manage that? I'd love to go along for the ride, but would not consider myself competent to evaluate this - at least not in any reasonable time period.
