I use realtime qoutes starting at 20 minutes before the market opens. The bid and ask prices are usually messed up, but about 1 or two minutes before a stock opens, they return to "normal". Schwab works for me, but I don't want to burn up all my realtime qoute allotment, so I use free realtime if I am not going to buy or sell. Compared both (schwab and free realtime) this morning, and they were both about the same. Sold at 164 this morning, and bought back at 155. It moved so fast. Hope I can do the same tommorow if conditions are right.
