Yes I know !! I never alluded to anything else. This is huge news for NT. Do you know how huch money AT@T spends on "voice only"?

I never meant the post to read that NT was taking AT@T business away from NN; I just thought it was relevent industry news.

KANATA, Ontario, April 9, 1998 — Cable & Wireless plc and Newbridge Networks
Corporation have announced an agreement that strengthens the companies' relationships
around the world. Cable & Wireless has appointed Newbridge Networks as a Global Key
Supplier for the Cable & Wireless group of companies. It is estimated that Cable & Wireless
will spend in excess of £200 million over the next five years.(read the full text)

KANATA, Ontario, August 26, 1998 -- Newbridge Networks today announced an
agreement with SBC Operations Inc. to provide MainStreetXpress™ 36170 Multiservices
Switches. Newbridge also will provide SBC with a MainStreetXpress 46020 Network
Manager and MainStreetXpress 48020 MultiNetwork Service Controller. The three-year
agreement is valued at over $300 million.

NNC) today announced that it has been selected to provide a high-capacity, multiservice,
multi-access asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network infrastructure for the initial stage of
Cable & Wireless' five-year $1 billion push into Europe. The highly scalable, fully managed,
network infrastructure will span 40 cities in 13 countries, enabling Cable & Wireless to offer
carriers and corporate customers highly competitive, advanced communications services
across mainland Europe.
