Hi Walt, They say the ozone layer gets very thin in winter in Canada nowdays, so in spring when the sun goes higher it now burns skin real fast.No big deal for us I guess but kids Must wear suntan lotion at this time of year. These kids will experience an epidemic of skin cancer in the futur due to the UV exposure they are getting now, experts say. May sound queerish but I'm passing along the word.. better safe than sorry. Skin cancer cases been zooming up over the last years. re Nunavut ! a new 'distinct' society :))))))))))) I feel the Feds caved in on this one ?? I'm not up there so cant really say. Will it change the rules for exploration ?? re Rock & Gems: great mag. my fav. when I can find it. Guess it's time to get ready for the skidoo water jumping season and driving in 2 feet of slush.. should be official sporting events for the Northern Olympics !!!
