Howie: So? If they know more than us, how does this support the theory that there is something rotten we don't know. I am beginning to sound like a broken record. It is very frustrating to have done so much research to have listened to informed analysts and then be told that there is some mysterious force at work known to nopbody but the omniscient "market". I'll be buying more CPQ if get to $30 and more if it goes lower.

Maybe they were helping themselves OUT. Do you remember Bear Sterns 10 reasons to buy Compaq. That turned out to be a sell signal. Look at the recent line up of bear calls about a month ago.

I really think that when can not pump the market higher, they short it, come out with negative comments, earn commissions on the way down, cover their short, go long and call the bottom.
