Howie: This is a vacuum trying to become a vortex. The market is frequently "wrong" about individual stocks and sectors. In this sector it is more often "wrong" than "right". It exagerates the good and the bad. There is nothing rotten in Denmark it is a clean, beautifully run country.

Given the fear about PC sales the market will simply not reason. It wants simple quantifiable facts for reassurance.

Like a big emotional elephant scared by a mouse, it will not quieten down and start walking forward again, until it is led by the nose. CPQ has to do the leading. It must provide facts and guidance. Unless there is some AV related announcement, I can't see them doing that until they have the facts which will probably be at earnings.
