ProAm Explorations Corporation drilling update Samuels Lake discovery

VANCOUVER, March 10 /CNW/ - Further to our news release of March 9, 1999,
ProAm and Starcore are pleased to report further progress on drill hole
SM-99-3 at the Samuels Lake Platinum-Palladium-Copper Joint Venture near
Atikokan, Ontario.

On March 9, 1999, it was reported that SM-99-3 intersected a 60 meter
(197 feet) zone of mineralization between 75.3 meters (247 feet) and 135
meters (444 feet). The mineralization is similar to that hosting platinum and
palladium in surface exposures (see previous news releases).

Continued drilling in the same hole (SM-99-3) has intersected another
zone 48 meters (167 feet) below the first intersection. This zone occurs
between 182 meters (601 feet) and 214 meters (702 feet) is 31 meters long (101
feet) and consists of semi-massive to massive sulphides including a
significant amount of chalcopyrite.

Assay results on this new zone will be reported as soon as they are
available. Drilling on the Samuels Lake project continues with further
ongoing detail geophysical (EM) surveys.
