Good points. Actually an acquisition of Novell makes more sense now than when the rumors first started to surface five years ago. At that point everyone was anticipating that they were going to get crushed by Microsoft. Well, they have survived and seem nicely positioned. As you probably know, Barron's ran a very positive article on them over the weekend. I would not be surprised to see someone take them out. Probably sooner rather than later.
