Neocon, I am with you. Taxes are not inherently evil, but sometimes tax rates impose some injustice. I like the idea of roads, infrastructure and defense. I don't care for social programs unless they serve individuals who are TRULY unable to care for themselves.

In any event, I would never suggest to someone that evasion is appropriate. I would encourage legal, jurisdictional diversification of assets where appropriate-- NO SECRET, UNREPORTED BANK ACCOUNTS!!!

P.S. What is LOL???

I don't think anyone ever said taxes are evil in principle...
Income taxes are, but I don't think anyone would be outraged by consumption taxes...
