Andy - Re: "Is the Hudson fab now called #19? "

No - It is Fab 17.

Re: "D1B now called #20?"

Not yet - but it will be by the end of this year, I think as it transitions to a full 0.18 micron production fab from a development fab.

Re: "Do you think Intel will maintain IA32 and IA64 indefinitely or will everyone be moved over to IA64 after a few years?"

IA 32 will continue on for a LONG TIME. Remember - Intel has the ankle biters to fend off (AMD and NSM and IDT) so it will need high performance low cost and HIGH COST IA/32 CPUS to address these competitive markets.

Re: "Do we have first silicon on Coppermine yet? "

To the best of my knowledge, first silicon wafer starts will occur in 2 to 3 weeks. Tape out has already begun - and in fact, is now beginning "again" !

Re: "Is AMD to your knowledge working on a 64 bit chip? "

Sure - the K8.

And I have been guaranteed by the AMDroids that it will be a SCREAMER - an INTEL KILLER - just like the K5, K6, K6-2, K6-3 and the JACKED-UP VOLTAGE VERSIONS of those Kdog chips.
