There is a review of sonic automotive by Individual Investor on their website. They recommed shorting the stock. Unfortunately, they did not speak to the company. They also show basic incorrect financial data for the company. Maybe an intern wrote the report. Who the hell knows? I have met the management of Sonic. They are goooooood. In addition, the stock is perceived as "just another piece of s. rollup". Well, so far, they have executed quite nicely on their business plan. PS - I own zero shares, but I get very pissed when I see misinformation - either too positive (hype) about something or too negative (short seller manipulation)about a stock that I think I know something about.
