What up with that?

>Indeed, he jokes that folks who fly to Italy for truffles or scour antique cookware shops are just a tad crazy.

''People who do that are people who surf the Web,'' he says. ''They're not balanced.''

What do you all think about RDRT trading down to 8 5/8's? Seems to me this is getting back to the beginning. Wasn't there anything about future projections that came out last quarter that made this stock worth more?

It looks like a buy, but the sector is down and people worry about IBM hurting them at WD and now taking Maxtor business. Is this justified?

Maxtor has a new GMR drive. Is this a RDRT program?

Denis has some very interesting comments. Message 8206855

I'd be interested to hear what you all think.

How quickly do we see wide spread GMR introduction? Isn't this going to drive TSA demand for Hutchinson?

Regards,

Mark

LT, OTOTOT *** the recipe. It copied poorly, so better read it at
mercurycenter.com

Al Shugart's meatloaf

2
eggs
2
teaspoons chopped or ground garlic
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon ground black pepper

Pinch of cayenne pepper
1
teaspoon ground oregano
1
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1
red bell pepper, diced
1
medium white onion, diced
2
pounds lean ground beef

About 30 crushed saltine crackers

Ketchup
4
russet potatoes, peeled and cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick
pieces

Combine eggs, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne, oregano, Worcestershire
sauce, red bell pepper and onion. In a large bowl, mix the ground
beef with the crushed saltines (it's easier to mix it all with your hands);
then add the egg mixture and mix well. Form into a loaf in a roasting
pan. Cover loaf with ketchup. Put potatoes around the loaf and cover
with ketchup. Bake at 350 degrees for at least 2 to 3 hours. Serves 6
to 8.
