Outpost.com Announces Agreement to Join GeoCities 'Pages That Pay' Affiliate Program Business Wire - March 10, 1999 13:09 KENT, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1999--Cyberian Outpost, Inc. (NASDAQ: COOL), a leading global Internet retailer of computer hardware, software, and accessories, today announced that its online store Outpost.com (http://www.outpost.com) will be a premier merchant in GeoCities (NASDAQ: GCTY) "Pages That Pay" affiliate program. GeoCities is the world's largest and one of the fastest-growing communities of personal Web sites. The GeoCities "Pages That Pay" affiliate program is comprised of a network of brand-name merchant Web sites who now have the ability to sell hundreds of products and services to over 19 million monthly visitors that travel throughout GeoCities' 3.5 million member Web pages. Under the terms of the agreement, GeoCities members who link to Outpost.com and generate sales through those links will receive a percentage of the revenue generated. In addition, Outpost.com will be featured as one of two merchants in the Hardware Category and as a premier merchant in the Software Category of the "Pages That Pay" Merchant Center.
