Maan this stock has been a dog. Does anyone have an update on the AV clarification? CNBC, analysts etc seem to ignore the fact this issue is pending, or is it? Didn't EP say this would be clarified within a couple weeks, or about the time of Dell's earnings? Do we no longer expect this news?

I gotta tell you guys, Brazil is a goldmine compared to this dog...pretty sad reflection on CPQ.

El: My mistake was to assume that you were talking of the October low when I was a shareholder. I did not realise that you were talking of a 6-7 month gap between the two times it was in the $22's. I did not remember it bouncing a couple of times at those levels in October. Once it got there it went up.

I did not follow the stock in February because I was not a shareholder. Frankly I am surprised to learn from John's post and yours that it had been at $22 then.

El: This from the Raging Bull thread. Maybe its time for Faber to activate that access you think he has with EP. After all this is more meaty than the last time he was supposed to have spoken with him when he reported EP's gloating about DELL's slowdown. I would have though Faber would want to follow up on that "scoop". Looks like the company is "no commenting" him: maybe you should send him an e-mail on what IR told you.

I hope ZEUS is wrong -- David Faber on CNBC just
featured CPQ and made comments about "back end
loading" for this quarter -- no comments from the
Co. though but if they're going to pre-announce
bad news, should do so soon. He added that all
the bad news and rumors may already be factored
into the share price.
