Personally i think that the current USB is good enough for printers, modems & scanners. Introducing USB 2.0 for these devices will just clutter up the window98 driver environment. i think that the idea of joining the TV & video to the computers is exactly the way technology is heading in, especially with smaller Firewire Camcorders & HDTV already on the market.

Faster ATA interfaces sound great, but why would i need USB 2.0 modems?- i'd get cable modem if i wanted faster data-through-put there.
