Can anybody here explain what these stochastic indicators I keep hearing about are? I am familiar with stochastics in mathematics and theoretical finance, but I can't understand how you could call an indicator a stochastic indicator. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks. (I know this is off-topic, but I saw someone mention a stochastic indicator earlier).
