The board would be irresponsible to agree to a 17 buyout offer with the stock at 18-3/8 to 18-1/2. They could just tell people to sell their stock on the open market and get an extra point and a half. What I don't understand is why PHG is going through with their offer at 17 given that the market price has held steady, over a point above their offer. I guess there's a lot I don't understand. So they're buying on Instinet. Sneaky, sneaky. The quantity of contracts that are trading for the April strike is very high, too, and they are creeping up, too. So are the March contracts creeping up, but at less volume. Linda
