Thanks for providing the posts. I assumed that you were baiting John, or at least trying to, and I was right. Baiting, as in posing questions about people being afraid to tell you their views. Seemed like a ploy to get attention, and my assumption was on the mark. You repeated the tactic in the post I am responding to, to wit: "I wish everyone would post their view, like I did. But I feel some of the doomers are scared to post their veiws [sic] on what they believe Y2K will do. WHY?????????"

Dang, you even used the "shouting" ploy in hopes of generating a response. Two reasons: a) people have found it useless to try to engage you in a intellectual discussion, and are tired of your "thinking by linking" responses and your incessant "don't ask me questions!" whining: and b) frankly, you have pretty well destroyed any chance of most folks taking you seriously (e.g., see 'a' above. We've tried. Why should we waste our time any more?

In fact, why am I wasting my time? I'm through feeding your need for attention. Responding to you at all gives you some semblance of credibility. Time for me to embrace Cheryl's advice re the Amish practice, only I prefer to characterize it as "ignoring."

Good luck.
