Good thoughts, Jason. . .the short-selling explains the sudden moves north on no news. . .direction upon merger depends on CNBC coverage for one thing. . .but the other thing is there could be some terrific news by either division that has been withheld during this quiet period.

Also, I think there are many that would like to play it, that won't during this period, due to the quantity of arbitragers in it. Just not safe enough. . . but the newly merged stock will be free of such restraints, IMO. And it is easily one of the most successful E--commerce pure plays money can buy.

As for who would want to buy them. . . I don't think VO would, due to their heavy investment in the UMG record companies. . .it would be seen as playing both sides of the fence. . . unless they think they can work it out. . .but I doubt it.

I think the suitors will be those companies you would LEAST expect. . . who is jockeying for position to try and be an Amazon killer. . .going after a broad spectum of e-commerce. . .and can afford it?
