Michael,

I just want to address one of the questions you raised. This is the type of question often raised by those not too familiar with the situation re VLNC, and also by the "bashers":

"Doesn't it bother anyone that the company has a half a dozen joint ventures and not one has produced revenue for VLNC? Doesn't that appear suspicious?"

I think we've all learned that the road to commercial production has been a lot longer and slower than Valence had anticipated. It's a difficult science. But from all available information, it now appears that they may finally be about ready to go. I think Rich covered the situation very well in his excellent summary on that other thread.

As for the joint venture partners, I believe they've been "a step behind" Valence in order for Valence to resolve the technical problems and other issues related to the production process. The viability of the various equipment changes and process changes have presumably been verified by Valence before being implemented by the JV partners, so they would naturally be further back on the timeline. So the fact that they've not produced any Li-poly based revenues at this point isn't really surprising to me.

Regards,
