Helo John:

>>>At the same time, as the expression goes, "I won't put God in a box" in other words he is not restricted by the limitations I would vainly impose upon Him.<<<

John; I would not lie to you. At a point in my past I actually thought that God "dwelt" in the Ark of the Covenant. Reminds me of your comment about putting God in a box. The Ark was a BOX and I am not being sacreligious by saying that.

I realized the foolishment of my thinking one day, when I realized how the Ark could contain the LAW ( physically only and in the form of stone) but never the hearts of mankind, nor the heart of God.

Looking back to the STONE law of the o/t; it was deadly serious at the time but now we look back and think. How ridiculous. Write the LAWS in stone ?? Come on God ?? You can do MUCH MUCH better than that and in Christ. "voilaaaaa"" He did the ultimate best ..
In Christ..gregor
