Well, strictly speaking the legal name of the company is still Northern Telecom Limited, only the "brand" name/identity of the company changed to Nortel Networks.

I suspect this is why you still see Nortern Telecom used in articles, etc.; even in NT's press releases.

Lucent has a huge building in Andover with the newer efforts established in concord, MA (agile, prominet and remnants of projects started with Bay Networks).
