Shawn: Faber's story is a lot of "maybes" based on (a) a denial by the company and (b) unnamed sources. Faber was wrong in his recent "scoop" that CPQ and Time Warner were about to sign a mega deal. That was based on "sources" too.

He gave one interesting fact, if it is true, that previous CPQ warnings have not budged the price because the negative was already built in. That is not confined to CPQ. The market hates uncertainty - once it knows the nature and extent of the damage, if any, it can cope with it.
