Thoughts About Novell From AOL.......

On second thought, the questions you are asking are very bullish.

From here on out, we need more long term holders to be questioning Novell's potential.

From here to $34 there is not that much overhead supply worth getting worried about.

Novell has been spending the past 2+ years building a massive coil of energy - consisting of fundamentally based longterm ownership that couldn't care less about future 10+ point flutterings in the stock.

Think for a moment the power behind this little $8 billion market cap company as it....

1) Sucks up leverages new energy and power behind the longer term ongoing logistical breakup of the Windows monopoly.

2) Gets recognized more and more as the enterprise platform of choice for internet-based server-apps.

3) Becomes the digital certificate platform of choice to secure interative & object oriented e-commerce transactions - NOT JUST THE STALE XML & HTML REFRESH E-COMMERCE THAT WE SEE TODAY.

4) Positions itself as THE HUB - the "central star" in the emerging world of internet directory apps and related technologies.

5) Gets the individual hooked - for the first time - with a mindblowing app directory-based (Digital Me) that's soon to be announced - and perahps given away for FREE - which will allow EVERYONE to FREE themselves from having to drop their drawers (ss#, credit card #, name, address, brother, sister, grandmother, tastes, preferences, surveys, repeat emails, etc.) everytime they buy a toner cartridge.

6) Turns the entire e-commerce world on its head by embracing individually-based portals, communities and platforms which lead to indiividually-based apps that allow individually-aware ISP's to take away business from power brand and hungry portals and companies that have treated THE INDIVIDUAL with all the respect and destain of a raw piece of .........

7) Fires us all right smack into Internet Wave 3 - a blastoff stage beyond the curve in the hockey stick - that will allow us to objectify and automate more and more of what we do from day to day - without all the added complexity and costs - such as setting and notifying our shedules, planners, clocks, timers, toasters, alarm systems, digital cell phones, others we know, and others we seek in this emerging "connected world" where ALL bandwidth is SMART.

8) Experty leads the world's movement toward "open source computing and solftware" thanks to alliances with Sun (Java & JINI), IBM, Intel, AOL/Netscape, Oracle, Lucent, Nortell, RedHat and others who are fast preparing in this Wave 2 (the start of e-commerce) for the real explosion of individual FREEDOM in Wave 3 - where THE INDIVIDUAL, NOT CORPORATION OR GOVERNMENTS ARE KINGS.

9) Continues to remain true the the Internet model by being an open, neutral, humble, connected, aware and viral source of energy to power to carry us higher into the next century.

10) Surprises everyone as it continues to turn heads by doing what few major corporations can do, but all wants to do better.....by Knowing Their Customers.

To Conclude.....

Novell's new source of FIRE and growth will come from the same fuel that is exploding the internet - THE THIRST FOR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM.

Novell will grow more than people realize as it focuses like a lasar on the power behind THE INDIVIDUAL.

The internet has changed the rules of the game. There ARE NO RULES. All future growth and development will come from the INDIVIDUAL. Pure capitalism is the most efficient mechanism for allocating resources, goods and services. The internet can become the medium to support and reveal these benefits to ALL only if THE INDIVIDUAL is allowed the FREEDOM to buy and drive their own cars and apps, make their own choices, etc.

As they fear losing their customer, watch out for the coming wave of FREEBEES - free PCs, cellphones, long distance, TVs, WebTV's, cable - from corporations far and wide. This is a predictable "last gasp" of the "old business model" which will be driven out of confusion and fear and will not last for long.

Individuals, if given the choice, will always chose FREEDOM and flexibility, over FREEBEES. Anything that's FREE from now on will carry a higher price tag - in restrictions, conditions, limits, etc.

England allowed our forefathers to live in this new land - but NOT WITHOUT A PRICE which was eventually paid in the Revolutionary War.

We have a New Revolutionary War on our hands right now. The Old Business Model guys are aligning together - perhaps with Microsoft and the Government or others - in an attempt to "cap the net".

Novell's technology will be a force - around the individual - which cannot be denied which will "rock the net".

Novell will have a lot of company which will rally around its quarters.

The Wintel monopoly is breaking up. Intel settled for a reason. Why fight for something that's going away anyway?

Hope this little guide provides some measure of hope behind Novell's awesome potential ahead.

GO!
