reg,
Why don't you send an email to Andre St- Michel, ECU Gold Mining President at ecu@ecu.qc.ca and ask him.
Then post his response. You have the right lingo.

Bill

REG,

I am told recovery rates are near 75% gold and 65% silver and improving by the day.

You must understand that ECU is currently in development and fully testing the plant. The tonnage is increasing big time. The grades are still low because most of the feed is coming from the tailings while they are continuing to develop ore for mine feed. Within a few months, I understand most of the feed will come from the mines which have enough proven reserves for 2 years of production at an average 200 g/t silver and 3.5 g/t gold. Several hot spots have much higher grades.

Resources are much higher and hopefully will be upgraded to reserves as ECU progressively uses some of its cash for exploration.

I estimate they are starting to be in the money.

I will not call ECU a steal.... but it seems an excellent speculation to me.
