The number of shares Doug refers to is shown in the tables portion of the News release.
The number of shares are "weighted averages" for the quarter and year. Therefore, the (number of shares) figures are skewed lower due to the issuing of shares during the periods.
Also of related note. The TSE has shares outstanding of 38 million, it will be 45 million with all the warrants exercised, and I also read somewhere that they are authorized for up to 50 million, so there are numbers all over the place.

Hope that helps,
John

RG.....

Does the fact that BII trades on three markets have the effect of lowering concerns about the float?? When we look at the floats of comparable stocks (ie UBID which is on the US market only) and see that they are smaller, I can understand concern. But when I remind myself that the BII float covers 3 markets; Canada, US and German Dax, I don't see it as a big problem. Am I deluding myself with this rational ??
