The Ertsberg district located within the Central Range on the island of New Guinea contains the Grasberg Deposit-possibly the worldest greatest gold/copper deposit. In 1997, Grasberg and surrounding area had stated reserves of ore containing 1.19% Cu, 1.18 g/t Au, and 3.8 g/t Ag. Total ore reserves of 2 billion tons.

I hope I have made my point. You need to understand the nature of porphyry systems in order to understand the drill results. A few meters intercept of high grade ore means nothing compared to hundreds of meters of intercept of low grade ore. The key is whether the grade is high enough to be economical. As stated before, .5% copper with .5 grams/ton Au is what is considered economical at Lipangue. These numbers come from geologists in the know about Lipangue. Cheers!

Mike:
What we are missing is how large is this deposite. The IP said we had a pantleg at station E- 600. Why do you or Medinah believe this to be so large. Where is the indicator? Do you still believe there is a supergene zone? I guess what are your thought on where we are going with the expanded drilling program?
Thanks
