Eric, Thanks for the site! I think the essence of AFCU is "connectivity". Thus for e.g. as ADSL or SDSL standards are adopted in both North America and Europe, and systems can be linked more easily across large geographic areas, I'm thinking that that will be incentive for ILEC's and CLEC's to upgrade bandwidth into small businesses and residential areas- i.e., volume traffic. That trend when it kicks off should benefit AFCI.

One thing I did not check closely on the xDSL article that you posted- Is Asia also involved in and acquiescing in some of the new xDSL Standards?

Indeed I'd say that the USA's telcomm system is to the USA as roads were to the Romans- a critical commnucation/commerce link...

Comments are in response to newspaper report that the company would make a bid for the Petaluma, CA-based company. Volume 416K; intraday range 8 9/16 to 8 3/4.
