This is one of the main reasons that AMD engineers have been leaving the company at such an alarming rate. Poor pay, worthless options, impending layoffs, bungled manufacturing, incompetent management, oceans of red ink, forced relocation, low esteem, project cancelations, looming bankruptcy, on and on. No wonder they're jumping ship. With the many job openings in the industry who would stick around for that?
