I planted Butterfly Bush at my folks last fall, it hasn't had a chance to grow big yet. I have a sun fuschia and pineapple sage just outside my sliding door, gets me lots of hummingbirds. Territorial little critters.

<<Anyone out there grow butterfly plants? >>

Wife says we have them, but she has been known to lie to me.

<<I saw some really odd creatures out by ours this past summer.>>

I saw some of those in my neighbor's yard last week.

I would love to grow butterfly plants, I think we live along one of the Monarch migratory paths, but if it is going to attract hummers, it would not be a good idea, would it? I mean, with the predatory cats?
