"I understand we have a large porphyry but it was my understanding that porphyry are generally low in gold values."

Low in gold concentrations yes, but low in gold values-NO! Porphyry deposits and the associated gold deposits that generally surround them are the most sought after and contain the most gold.

I better question might be why I think Lipangue has a lot of gold in it. Need to look at the clues given us.

1)Placers deposits in the rivers and creeks surround Lipangue-many have been mined for hundreds of years and still contains millions of ounces of golds.

2)Known gold values at Las Dos Maris which appears to be related

3)Geology info from LDM

3)Nearby Lampa mine with high grade gold veins

4)Top of the breccia was mined previously for gold..free gold by the Spanish/Incas-they didn't mess around with low grade stuff.

5)Quijano's core and how geologists and others say it is the best they have ever seen..

6)Comments from geologists on the size and composition of the ore at Lipangue-

7)IP results

8)Surface geology features.

9)Regional geology features.

10)The drill results that we have seen so far-and the unusually high gold numbers compared to the copper values.

Enough for you?
