Where the Action Is: ATM Switching Technology

So what are the hot areas for 1999? ATM switching technology is quickly becoming the standard that is taking data networking to a whole new level. According to Computer Telephony Magazine 'ATM is the only way to integrate multimedia applications.'

The feedback I have gotten from industry analysts is that ATM switching technology will allow for the convergence of voice and data on a single platform. A company with significant ATM Technology appearing on our list is TranSwitch (NASDAQ: TXCC). Fore Systems (NASDAQ: FORE) and Newbridge Networks (NASDAQ: NN), both of which failed to make the list, also have ATM product lines.

Well, the old saying of ( One man's trash is another's treasure ),
seems to apply here. I own all four of your quoted stocks, PAIR and
Fore for about two months, CPQ and COMS, for about two days. I am
very content with my purchase's and I have just really began to build
my positions. I could be wrong, but I doubt it, but this time next
year these levels are going to look pretty smart. I wish you well,
but I believe the key here is entry points and exit points.

Take care

Henry

FORE activity is strange today. What is brewing? May be the precursor to some leaky analysts. Some positive trading this morning followed by an hour of nothing. Trading ends slightly before 10 and resumes slightly after 11 with a large block of ~700K shares apparently at the bid. Any theories?
